Demonstrator: Kevin Jesequel
Program Details: Turning a Natural-Edge Bowl
Bark on or off? There are strong opinions for each, but either
way, there is something alluring about the undulating rim of a
natural edge bowl. Round, oval, deep, shallow, footed or rounded,
the variations are nearly limitless. In this demonstration, Kevin will
show how he orients and manipulates the blank on the lathe to achieve
balance between the high and low points of the rim as well as
balance through the grain in the bottom of the bowl.

Program Details: Join your fellow turners to work through issues,
solve problems, complete projects, or just hang out and visit!
Please – to help out everyone who attends – WEAR YOUR CLUB NAMETAG!
Experienced turners will be on hand to help with sharpening, turning
techniques, and finishing suggestions.
The session will begin at 9:00 a.m. and cleanup will start at about 12:30 p.m.
for a 1 p.m. end-of-session. Let's be courteous to our host!
