Demonstrator: Dave Pitman, WVW
Details: Bowl with Interlocking Lid
WVW Club member Dave Pitman will demonstrate techniques he uses to create
a bowl with a locking lid, formed with a circular thread and groove, not a
spiral thread. Dave copied the design from a Swedish bowl that is probably
150 years old. Since most club members know how to turn bowls, Dave will
try to show how he reverse-engineered the interlocking thread and groove

Due to the Oregon Woodturning Symposium, there is no club meeting scheduled for
March. We urge all club members to take advantage of the opportunities the
Symposium offers. Remember: this event hasnt happened for three years, and
the next one won't happen until 2025!
